It is kind of strange and ironic the Puerto Rico also has a verity of Mimi of the screaming kind.

It is kind of strange and ironic the Puerto Rico also has a verity of Mimi of the screaming kind. I'm not sure if the aboriginal spirits called mimis have any sort of linguistic relationship to these, or the term 'screaming mimi' that's been used since at least WWII.

They are forever in my mind because I experienced Screaming Mimis when I was in Puerto Rico.
