I just recently learned about this case from a Netflix show but I can't recall which one. I have really been enjoying thinking about and studying it. Here is a link that tells about it. www.ufo-mystery.co.uk/mil_tor1.htm

It's armed with 24 2.75 inch unguided rockets in that drop down shelf. The model that I have shows external stores under the wings of what looks like several additional larger rockets.

It's interesting to speculate and wonder about things. A more modern aircraft would probably try to fire guided missiles at it in far less numbers and far less frequently. Between the two which might it be easier for the UFO to deal with? With more modern aircraft a far more advanced adversary has a lot more that it can interact with. Those older planes were fly by wire and or mechanical linkage. An unguided rocket has no guidance system to trick or interfere with.

I have been wondering more and more about how much trying to get a so call UFO has played in the design of some aircraft. It stands to reason and is looking more like it has.

It also kind of looks like our more modern aircraft may be designed to be more easily manipulated by more advanced overseers.

That other interceptor of ours that disappeared during a UFO encounter near Canada may have been armed with unguided rockets also. It was not the same aircraft as in this encounter but had some of the same characteristics.

This is the type of plane that disapeared.

There was also a similar kind of plane that most of it disappeared during a UFO encounter in Massachusetts. I think it was a F94 Starfire.
